Happy New Year!
Jan. 3rd, 2010 05:14 pm2009 was fairly uneventful. For some, that would be a good thing. But given that 2008 had the deaths of both my grandfather and a family dog, uneventful is good. Sure, we had a few ER trips, but everything turned out fine (One big bump on the head, one cut to the forehead, and an double ear infection: all for Drake).
Reed began talking in earnest, and Drake began showing signs that he's going to be a sweet boy with a temper instead of mostly being in a bad mood and occasionally sweet.
I've tried in earnest to find time for my dreams, but I forget that when you're a stay at home mom with children over the age of 1 and under the age of 6, it is often difficult to that. However, after many frustrating attempts to write something and hitting the wall that is life, I'm still trying. Either I just haven't figured out that it's the cosmos laughing at me, or this is really what I am meant to do. (I do lean towards what I'm meant to do. An inability to do more than take notes means that when I do have time, I'll have all my notes and research done.)
Here's to hoping that 2010 will be just as wonderful as the last, and if I might be so bold, maybe just a little more wonderful. And here is to wishing the same for all of you who still peek in on me now again. While I've faded from most fandoms, I do keep you all in my hearts.
