Did my part and went to the local polling place. Which turned out not to be open for this special election... so I looked it up on my phone and drove the 2 minutes to get there.
I usually don't share how I voted, but I voted down all the initiatives. I don't care that they'll "save our budget." These propositions were created so that Schwarzenegger didn't have to be the mean governor who cuts programs and raises taxes.
And worst yet, they're all based on the principle that we borrow from the future and hope that somehow we'll be able to pay for those programs.
Basically, the budget problem's like a bandage. Do you rip it off now and get it over and done with and do what you need to do? Or do you wait and hope that it comes off easily?
